At the age of 11 years old, I knew my future would consist of helping others with their health. My great-aunt, who was a nurse, gave me a blood pressure kit and showed me how to use it. I haven’t stopped checking people’s blood pressure since. I‘ve worked in and around medicine for over 30 years. Medicine has always fascinated me. I worked in private practices, Internal medicine, podiatry, general surgery, gynecology, endocrinology, cardiology, and a top ten hospital in the United States. These positions and locations were my early education to real-life situations and how they were addressed under an oath-taking protocol. I saw up close, the do’s and don’ts of our health system.
Somewhere around 2003, I began to study, learn, and transfer to a more natural health means for myself. I saw so many people/patients returning to the doctor’s office and hospital with the same non-emergency medical problem they had a month ago. I began to realize we were helping the sick remain sick. I began to implement herbs, supplements, exercise, juicing, cleanses, detoxes, etc, into my life and my family’s life. I changed my diet to more fruits, salads, vegetables, organic (before mainstream popular) clean foods, and good fats. Juicing became a lifestyle for me. These changes started paying off. People had always referred to me as “The Health Nut” before my going natural and holistic, but after seeing big changes they begin asking me questions about their own health. And desperately wanting me to help them with their health-related issues. So much, so that it became my full-time business.
Through the years I’ve read medical journals and researched government medical case studies (still do) for natural treatments, and such. And what new medicine/science/technology is being worked on and derived from what natural herbal extract. Or, what case study confirms the benefits of herbs and vitamins, or not. Or, the facts of how responsible intermittent fasting can get you to ketosis and have amazing brain benefits by way of autophagy.
There are hundreds of studies on natural supplements and herbs along with studies on the current fade diets. Or, recent research on the Blue Zone societies, where large populations of people live beyond 100 years, and the foods they eat are being studied. And studies of how Vitamin D3 is not just a vitamin, but more importantly a hormone. And how and why that’s a game changer. Or, why COQ10 (a co-enzyme) decreases the risk of a heart attack for a person diagnosed with high cholesterol with and without statin drugs. And so much more, that if you are not looking for it, you won’t hear about it until they are ready to publicize it.

Primary Food:
It’s easy to overlook all of the things that contribute to our sense of nourishment and fulfillment. Not just the food we eat that affects our health, but all other factors in our daily lives. Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity, and a spiritual awareness are essential forms of nourishment. When these primary foods are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary. I will support you in achieving all of your goals, from eating the right foods for your body to living an inspired, fulfilling life.
Bio-Individuality:
The concept of Bio-Individuality is the idea that each of us has unique food and lifestyle needs. One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run. Working on the principle of bio-individuality, I’ll support you in making positive changes based on your unique needs, lifestyle, preferences, and ancestral background.
Crowding Out:
Many nutrition experts give their clients a list of foods to avoid and foods to eat, which explains why so many people are turned off by nutrition. My approach is different – by eating and drinking foods that are good for you based on the above information, you will naturally have less room and desire for unhealthy foods. Simply put, you will crowd out the unhealthy food in your diet. This takes a little practice to make happen, but I will support you along the way.
